Pyloric Stenosis

Do any STMs+ have any experience with Pyloric Stenosis? DS has really bad reflux. We are seeing the Dr later today and they mentioned checking to see if he has it.

    The dr's thought that DS had it when he was a baby.  Had several abdominal ultrasounds to rule it out thankfully.  DS had over developed stomach muscles that would contract on his little stomach squeezing whatever he'd just eaten out.  It was like an eruption every time.  Thankfully it wasn't PS.  Chances are they will want to do an u/s on his stomach to check for it.  Fingers crossed for you that it isn't!

    Thanks ladies. He has acid reflux and colic. :( I am hoping the medicine we were given can give him some relief, he cries in pain when he burps or farts.

    DS had reflux in top of it all. It sucks. I hope you guys get some relief with the meds.

    I'm sorry! That's hard on LO and mama! Are you feeling any better/ is DH any more understanding? And do you have a rock'n'play? I've heard those can be a lifesaver for reflux babies!

    I'm doing okay. I'm just tired, like all new moms. DH is being more supportive/ understanding. Plus, I am going to a support group tomorrow, so I'm hoping that helps me.
