As you might remember, my FFFC was that I didn't want to go engagement ring shopping with SO because I just wasn't really up to it.
Well... Saturday came and I was actually feeling better. It might have had something to do with the sunshine and 55 degree weather. So, I agreed to go out for dinner and to go window shopping.
I ended up picking out an engagement ring and wedding band.
I'm really surprised that I did it. I wasn't planning on it. He hasn't bought it yet but the store is holding it for 30 days. I think he is waiting to get his tax refund before he buys it. And of course he won't give me any hints about his plans but I'm figuring/hoping he might do something around my birthday in a few months. But who knows.
I think Saturday helped me a lot, emotionally. Getting out of the house, spending time with SO, no expectations, no stress, pretty weather. I guess it helped me realize things will be ok and they will get better. I'm still not 100% but I'm getting there slowly.

I actually was thinking I need a new wedding band. Few years ago I got a gorgeous solitaire ring, and it would be nice to have a nice wedding band to complete the bling on my finger!! I think I deserve it, 10 years in May, I'm gonna drop hints now.
Sorry Ladies! I completely forgot I posted yesterday before I left work. Things got a little hectic once I got home and it just slipped my mind.
It did help me a lot to get out and do something happy. I don't know when I'll get the ring yet but the store is holding it for 30 days. I don't really think he has the money for it at the moment but he might be planning on using his tax refund. I'm kind of glad he wanted me to pick it out because I can be a little pick when it comes to my bling.
I dont have any pictures of it yet but when I get you ladies will know and I'll AW the pics. It is has 3 princess cut stones with smaller channel set stones on either side. It's beautiful. I'm figuring/hoping/praying I get it this spring. He won't tell me when/where/how he plans to propose but I'm hoping it's soon! I hate waiting once I know something is coming...
Unfortunately I don't think there is a pic online because it is a smaller company and they don't mass produce like the big box jewelers.
