AW: our first night home

We had a little bit of a(nother) hiccup and had to stay an extra day because Jackson was jaundiced. There was a chance I was gonna have to leave without him, but thankfully it didn't come to that and we got to leave as a family yesterday evening.
First let me say, no one can believe my little angel is a 35 weeker. I never had a dating ultrasound, so I guess there's a small chance, but I'm certain of the date of my last period because it was the day after we got back from our honeymoon and it was heavy and I was in enough pain to be laid up in bed.
Anyway. He was perfect last night. We have 3 dogs and he doesn't even flinch when they bark (I think he's used to them from when he was in utero). He's continuing to eat well from mommy and supplementing expressed milk from a bottle after each feed. And he sleeps wonderfully in his bassinet. I laid him down awake but calm and he didn't make a peep. I reeeeaaalllly hope he stays this way.

And for viewing pleasure here he is in his car seat before leaving the hospital.
