Survival food

Hey ladies, just went to Costco and stocked up on uncrustables and Belgian waffles so I always have something quick to eat when bb girl is keeping me busy.
I also used to eat oatmeal and eggos the first two weeks of Pp.
What's some of the stuff you like to stock up on for a quick meal?

Re: Survival food

  • Cheese and crackers. Soup. Protein bars. Belvita biscuits (love those). Bananas. Toast. With DS I ate Fiber One bars but those kill my stomach.

  • Protein bars, pizza rolls (guilty pleasure) and trail mix have been the main components of my diet lately! Quick and easy.

  • Peanut butter by the spoonful. Trail Mix, protein bars, apples, yogurt, deli meat. I've also been eating a ridiculous amount of chocolate, must be a post-partum thing.

  • I have kept my diet pretty much the same as before I had DS2.  I am home with DS1 and he needs to eat real food.  My breakfast most days is oatmeal, DS1 usually has cereal or a peanut butter sandwich.  Morning snack is a fruit he and I share (apple slices, oranges, bananas, etc) with yogurt.  Lunch is either leftovers from supper the night before or I will make something quick in the oven like a pizza or chicken nuggets.  I try to make dinners that don't have to be eaten at a specific time, like crock pot meals or oven recipes.

  • Also, I made these with my toddler the other day (it's a really quick and easy recipe):

I added extra raisins and omitted the chocolate and skipped the frosting, to make them healthier.
