So hungry

Ever have one of those days where you seem starving, no matter how much you eat?

I'm back to counting calories since I think I gained like 10 pounds over the holidays. Ok, I know I did.  And I just feel starving.  (and yes, I'm eating enough!).. it's just one of those days where I feel hungry, no matter what I eat.

I hate those days. I want chocolate.

Re: So hungry

  • I had two mini doughnuts, 1 string cheese, 1 yogurt, and coffee. I still want to eat! LOL

  • Yup, all the time! Especially hungry right now. I vomited at 4 this morning & every time I get up I'm dizzy so I haven't eaten yet. Ugh migraines suckkkkkk.
Oh yuck!  Are you throwing up from the migraines? I'm sorry, I hope you feel better soon!

  • Speaking of hungry, why do some people insist on heating up their lunch at 11:00 in the kitchen right down the hall from my office?  I am fine until I smell their deliciousness and then I want food.  If I eat my lunch this early I will eat my arm by 2:00. Ugh!  Diet fail!

  • Yes!  I am also counting calories and cutting back my portion sizes.  Because I am not used to it yet, I am starving all day long.  I know it's an adjustment period, but it makes trying to eat better so hard!
Understand!  I've been counting calories for 13 months.  But I got off track there during the holidays and gave myself a break... and then I gain 10 pounds.  I am quite obviously NOT ready to stop counting yet after my 50 pound loss.  So I re-started counting to get my 10 pounds off.  I'm used to counting, I actually enjoy it.  But I'm also hungry dropping mine back down to where I should be.

  • Umm thanks ladies due to PEER PRESSURE I just ate cheetos.
  • Well I already ate my cheese and yogurt thankyouverymuch.

    And they were regular.
  • I love gelato soooo much.

I had lunch and I'm still freaking hungry. SO frustrating.  How can one be hungry after they eat? It's real hunger, too.. not that type of hunger where I just wanna munch.  I'm actually hungry.

Thank goodness tonight is take out night.

Snacking on fruits and veggies in between meals should fill you up for a while. Also drinking water helps me. I drink a lot of water.
    Not working :P
I drink like 120 ounces of water, so I can't possibly fit much more.  And I always have at least 6-7 servings of fruits and veggies.  I honestly think nothing will help today! It's just one of those hungry days.

  • OK ladies i was trying to be SUPPORTIVE!! Lol now everyone take all of that back!  There is no way that my 3 slices of buffalo chicken, stuff crust pizza, with an ice cold pepsi tasted better than being skinny.

  • hahaha!!

The thing is, since losing my weight.. I've actually come to realize that ^^ is very true.  because a piece of candy is gone in literally 10 seconds.  And then what???  That feeling of going into the dressing room and fitting into my size 6 jeans is actually a feeling that lasts MUCH longer ;)

Yeah but candy taste so freakin' good!!!!!!
for all of 10 seconds ;)
But I still have candy! ALmost daily. I just work it in!  I eat about 75% good and clean, and 25% bad.  Gotta have the bad, or I wouldn't succeed.

And we eat out twice a week still. (dinner Tuesday nights, lunch Saturday).  So I splurge then!
