because from the posts i read on here, it seems to be confusing some of you. 90% does not = better than a baby in 5th% IF THEY ARE STILL ON THEIR NORMAL GROWTH CURVE. A higher percentile doesn't mean the baby is better, healthier or more well fed FFS! for the past 5 years, my son was consistently in the 5th-20th depending on his age / growth spurts etc, but always remained on his normal curve. However, he was thriving, and NOTHING was wrong with my supply. Some kids are smaller, which is reflected in the percentages. it's not a test, a lower percent is not "failing." i don't know why this is so hard to grasp!

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised or would flame you for this observation as that's all she's ever done. It's been amusing at times, but mostly just dumb.
