Just checked into L&D for blood pressure reading 150/100. I went to my regular Dr for the cold I have been complaining about and that was the reading she got. She told me to call my OB who sent me in. Here's to hoping she stays cooking for the 3 more weeks before my induction date!
Update:
Just got home. Blood pressure remained high (168/98) when we left. My OB requested blood work which came back normal, so I have to do yet another 24 hour urine sample to check for protein. I will follow up with her at my regular appointment on Thursday. I just feel like blood pressure that high is not a good thing, so now I'm freaking out a little. On the upside I was able to get antibiotics for the upper respiratory infection I am sure I got from one my students.

Hope everything goes well! Please keep us updated. You are in the same boat as me. My blood pressure has been the same as your reading & I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. My doctor said that by the end of this week I will have enough protein in my urine to call it preeclampsia. I am also getting induced in exactly three weeks. Prayers to you! Let us know how everything goes!
