so over zoloft

Its going on 5 weeks Thursday. Dr and others on here have said it will take about 4 wks for my body to get use to it but holy cow come on now.

Nauseated.. upset stomach and so very tired. Every day. She gave me another script for Lexipro ?..can't remember but pharmacist said it is in the same class and will still make me sick. I keep saying I'm not taking it but then I say well one more day lol. If I switch then I'm afraid the new needs will also take weeks to get use to.

Grr no point in this but just to whine I guess!! Happy Monday everyone!!

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    So sorry you are having such a hard time with your meds. My husband switched from Zoloft to Effexor and he is doing really well on it. Maybe ask your dr about that med.

    I know all of those meds take a long time to take affect and a long time to get out of your system. I guess I might weigh the way I was feeling before them against the way I'm feeling on them. Sorry you are feeling so yucky though! Hope it gets better soon!

    I have been on sertraline (zoloft gen) for a few years now. One gyn gave it to me because she diagnosed me with "PMDD". Felt like an extreme diagnosis, but it works for me and takes the edge off. I was on Effexor and a couple others years ago, and the side effects were difficult for me, so I relate. I hope you find something soon that works for you.

    No experience personally, so just sending hugs and hope things get better :)

    Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

    IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
    IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
    IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
    IVF #2: Apr '    14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
    IVF #3: June '14     ...     Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
    Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    I'm going to finish this week but if still feeling crappy this weekend I'm done! I'm way too misersble. Thanks ladies :)

    I was on lexapro and switched to zoloft. I found lexapro to be a good drug for me. Zoloft is better studied so I switched. It doesn't have the same effectiveness for me. Good luck. For awhile I went without and tried literally everything to stay off them but the cloud would not lift. If you can find the right med it can be a life saver. GL.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
