Good Morning, Ladies. Another Monday. Blah. I don't know about you, but its rainy and dark where I live and I wish I was at home instead of at work. Anyways, how did you do this week?

    Activity Log: 
    Sunday: 1 hour body pump; 1 mile walk
    Rants/Raves: I was so sick this week and barely got to work let alone the gym. Finally felt better on Sunday and went to the gym. Excited to get back with it this week. 
    Goals for this week: Work out 5x this week
    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? I obviously knew I was pregnant prior to this, but I was in body pump about two weeks ago (think bar with weights) and doing clean and presses, rows, and dead lifts - the bar kept hitting my belly! I just kept thinking "oh geez, this is really happening"!

  • I haven't participated in this up to this point, but I guess I'll start now...especially b/c I really need some help with staying accountable.
     
    Week: 23 weeks
    Activity Log: Over the last week, I did some strength training 3 days (arms, legs) and then I did cardio twice - yesterday we walked a ton throughout our neighborhood b/c the weather was so nice - probably 2 miles or so.
    Rants/Raves: Well, we ended up being totally snowed in 2.5 days last week so I was forced to work from home and really was unable to find time to exercise. I ate way too much junk food during that time too since there was nothing else to do.
    Goals for this week: Fit in my exercise DVD's at least 3 times, I would love to walk this weekend but I think we are supposed to have rain. Either way, I have DVD's with cardio also that I can do.
    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? I think the worst for me at this point is when I do walk - I just have lots of pressure and some pain (sciatic) and it really kicks in for me when walking.

    Sunday - rest
    Monday - step aerobicsx 45 mins; weights x 30 mins
    Tuesday - cardio dance x 45 mins; weights x 30 mins
    Wednesday - zumba x 60 mins
    Thursday - rest
    Friday - zumba x 45 mins; pre-natal pilates x 60 mins
    Saturday - 4 mile family walk w/dogs

    Rants/Raves: Rant: walking up the stairs at work wears me out. it's embarassing, and i hate it. Rave: my weight gain has slowed down. :-)

    Goals for this week: weights 3x and add 45 minutes of cardio somewhere in my routine

    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? I was in zumba a week or 2 ago, adn I had to step out to pee after the warm-up. the instructor caught my eye and laughed/winked. she knows what's up.

    Activity Log: Monday - Ran 3.5 miles, elliptical for 10 min
    Thursday - Ran 3.5 miles, elliptical for 10 min, abs
    Saturday - Ran 3.5 miles, biked for 3 miles, abs
    Rants/Raves: Rants: Belly is starting to get bigger and more uncomfortable, Raves: Feeling great otherwise and have lots of energy. My husband and I went furniture shopping yesterday and he pooped out way before I did and had to take a nap when we got home.
    Goals for this week: Continue working out and try to get in 4x this week.
    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? When I felt like I had to constantly pee when I was running, even though I had just gone to the bathroom 2 minutes ago. Also if my shoe gets untied while running, bending over to tie it is not as easy as it used to be.

    Activity Log: Nothing yet this week, but will be on the elliptical tonight
    Rants/Raves: RAVE: I think I convinced DH that we need a new elliptical!!  I'm hoping to order tonight!!!  Rant: our current elliptical has had so many new parts and time put into it and it just keeps failing
    Goals for this week:  Working out at least 4 days 
    GTKY: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? When I had to start borrowing DH's shirts to wear for workouts

    Activity Log:
    Monday: Rest
    Tuesday: Bodyworks Class (light weights)
    Wednesday: Cardio - 45 min elliptical
    Thursday: Bodyworks Class (light weights)
    Friday: Cardio - 45 min elliptical
    Saturday: Rest
    Sunday: Cardio - 45 min elliptical
     
    Rants/Raves: I miss running so much. Every time I see a runner in the gym or outside I seethe with jealousy. I'm grateful that I can at least do the elliptical to keep up some cardio but it's just not the same.
     
    ETA: I had to give up running a few weeks ago due to intense back and pelvic pain. A support band helps but not enough for the impact of even an easy jog.
     
    Goals for this week: Make up for all the crap I ate yesterday and eat healthy! It's hard enough to get up the motivation to work out without a food hangover.
     
    GTKY: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? When I looked in the mirror during class and realized that I had a large belly button sweat stain on my shirt. It popped out so that happens every time I work out now. Sexy.

    Rants/Raves: Rant - This week is going to be a challenge getting to the gym with 2 doctors appointments and a friend's funeral.
    Rave - This is my husband's last week at his crappy job with crappy hours.  I will finally get to spend time with him!  Yay!

    Goals for this week:  Just to make it to the gym a couple of times with everything else that is going on.  I went today so that was a good start.

    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant?  Not really while working out, but when I had to start really paying attention to what clothes I packed in my gym bag so I wouldn't end up with my huge stomach hanging out from under a shirt.

    Rants/Raves: I had to start wearing DH's workout shirt this week - my belly officially sticks out of the bottom of all mine  :(
     
    Goals for this week: 3 DVDs, 1 night of swimming and hopefully a few walks if it every stops raining
     
    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? When the thought of doing a burpee made me want to cry.

    27w4days Activity: boot camp Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Rants/ raves: I get soon tired so quick working out but I can still lift fairly comparable to prepregnancy. Goal: 4x every week but lots of bad weather and appointments might get in way Gtyk: when I had to walk the ladder sprints because sprinting made me too nauseous Keep working hard strong mommas!

    Monday- prenatal yoga
    Tuesday- cardio
    Wednesay: yoga
    Friday: Kickboxing

    Rants/Raves: I feel so heavy and am starting to feel way less coordinated. Lots of breaks for me on my workouts!

    Goals for this week: Hit five days.

    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant?

    When I had to skip burpees and inversions.
  • Week 24 (w/ twins)

    Mon: 30 min strength
    Tues: 20 min bootcamp video (modified)
    Wed: 40 min walk
    Fri: 30 min strength
    Sun: 20 min bootcamp video(mod)

    Rants/raves: happy I did something 5 days and feeling pretty good energy wise as a result. Feel like I'm getting back on track after the holidays and vacation. Eating out less, so that's helping too.

    It's going to be cold all week...too cold for a walk outside or to use the treadmill in the garage.

    Goals: 5 days again this week and keep focusing on healthier eating.

    I was lifting light weights the other days and the weights kept hitting my belly. Also, I stopped running months ago bc of pelvic discomfort... It basically felt like my vagina was going to fall out. Lol

    Monday:  Tracy Anderson dvd (30 minutes)
    Wednesday:  1 hour prenatal yoga and tai chi
    Saturday:  5 mile cross country ski
    Rants/Raves:  Rave - I did it!  I worked out 3X in one week!
    Goals for this week: Keep it up and add more walking on lunch breaks since air quality has been good lately.
    GTYK: What was your moment while working out where you realized you were pregnant? Mile 3 1/2 of my cross country ski excursion...hips and lower back really started to hurt me.  I went slow and kept stopping and stretching my back/  I pushed through even though hubby told me to wait and he would bring the truck around.  I can tell my joints and muscles are doing weird things these days...even cleaning the house makes me feel like I am 300 years old.
