What does your LO sleep in?

I'm considering buying a twin or full for DD but just wondering what your LOs are sleeping in these days?

Crib?
Crib with open side?
Toddler bed?
Twin?
Full?
Other?

Ps... I wish there was a poll button on mobile...

Re: What does your LO sleep in?

  • Nina sleeps in her crib transitioned into a toddler bed. When we start trying for another baby we are moving her to a different room that will have a twin bed. When our second baby is done with the crib we have a full size bed Nina will have and move the second kid to the twin.

  • She's been in a twin bed (with a boxspring, on the floor, no bed frame) since she was about 17 months old. A neighbor gave us some mesh covered bed rails, which we're still using.  The crib does convert, but we wanted to use it for DD2 instead of buying a second crib.

I'm really glad we didn't spend money on a toddler bed.  It is so much roomier and more comfortable for us to lay in the twin bed together and read stories, etc.  We also had a tough transition, so I spent a LOT of time laying with her!

  • Still crib. Summer time we'll convert the crib into the daybed.
  • We are still in a crib and will not change till it is absolutely necessary.

  • As you can see in my "girls room" post, she sleeps half on her sister's bed, half on her own bed (both twin size)

  • DD sleeps in a queen bed.  At first we were worried it'd be too big for her, but now we love it.  She has a HUGE bed to roll around in and we don't worry that she'll fall out.

We do have a railing up on the side of the bed that she hugs.
  • Crib....he loves his crib
  • We are still in the crib here and I love that lol.
