There is also new research indicating that SIDS is a brain stem issue.

    I agree. I was more interested in when the risk of SIDS is at its peak and why it peaks during those few months.

    It does seem bias and LLL is not a neutral source on anything.  I would like to see the anthropological data they claim about cultures who don't do night separation have less prevalence in SIDS.

    My LO has never had any issue waking up at night.  He's a champ at waking up in the middle of the night!
