Ice Ice Baby

Is anyone else enjoying crunching on ice all day long? I get it crushed wherever I can otherwise I wait for the drink it make the ice a little softer then crunch away. My teeth start to ache and I get twitchy if I can't have it when I want. I know this is horrible for my teeth but at this point I would rather eat a cup of crushed ice than anything else. And Slurpee's do not count! I have to crunch it!!

FWIW, I know it can be an iron thing but my levels were ok.

    Yup.  I've decided the best place to get ice is Sonic and Dairy Queen.  It's crunchy without being TOO crunchy, so it's easier on my teeth.  I have to have some sort of crushed ice in everything I drink.

    I heard it was an iron thing too, but my iron has always been fine!

    Oh I've been loving it!! Glad I'm not alone!! Mostly the last 3wks or so, I'm 34wks..
    The BP fountain pops have the crushed ice too it's the best!!
    My husband wants to kill me but I can't get enough!!! He cant stand the sound though..I have to try to limit around him! Ha!
    I'm actually looking forward to that part of labor so I can tell him the doctor told me I can have it.. HA!!

    I was an avid ice cruncher before pregnancy. The hospital is the only place in town with good ice! :(

    this is me...including the England part. When I ask my h to get me a glass of water i have to remind him NO ICE.

    YES! And our ice maker makes soft ice, so I get big ol cups with ice and a teeny bit of water to drink/eat all day long. The downside is my 2 yr old loves ice too, so I often find gross stuff floating in mine if left unattended!

    I always munch on ice..it's probably super annoying to everyone around me to hear my crunching!

    I crunch on it alllllll day! I can taste it in my mouth ( like salivate) if I don't have any for like 2 or three hours. It's pretty bad bc u will go to Wawa and publix just to get ice. Every restaurant we go to I ask for an extra glass of just ice. I've always been slightly anemic too. This pregnancy has just amped up the ice craving.

    I love my nija machine right now! I crush my ice to make it look like snow then go to town on it!! I crave it all the time!!

    I am so addicted I can hardly wait for the ice in the fridge to freeze. Don't think I was ever even craving coffee this much. Glad to know I'm not the only one:)

    The workers at sonic know me because I am there for happy hour so often. Ice tea with extra ice... It's perfect.

    I've been crunching away on it too that past two wks. Just craving it! I was worried because I've read it's related with pica... Which I guess I don't get because it's basically water right? I haven't changed my diet much but maybe baby is needing more of iron or whatever right now? Idk for me it's almost like a texture thing..

    Yesterday I had just dumped my one and only frozen tray of ice in to my ice bin and knocked every single piece in to the floor. I may have cried just a little bit over that. I had to defrost my car and scrape 5 inches of snow off my windshield to run to the store to get ice...

    I told my husband that I needed a fill in husband for when he's at work so he can do my running for me.

    I threw up for my entire pregnancy with my first, multiple times a day. Since eating ice for the last month I have stopped throwing up. this is the first time I have gone without throwing up and peeing on myself all day..

    I love taco time ice.
