7 month old still up every 2 hrs at night

my son is 7 months old. hes still waking every two hours at night wanting a bottle. he doesn't even want it that much during the day. I have tried multiple things. like cutting him down gradually letting him cry (but he will cry for 2-3 hrs and I have to work in the morning) . I just found I'm due again in September and I'm worried he still will be up all night. I just don't know what else to do/try. any suggestions?

    Is he eating a whole bottle each time at night or falling asleep half way through? If he's falling asleep and not finishing then I would say that he's using the bottle to go back to sleep.

    He needs to consume enough calories during the day to help with sleep at night (still doesn't mean he will sleep all night :/). Are you FF or BF? If your FF maybe try changing to a different formula..... maybe he dislikes the taste (maybe he will eat more)?!?!  If you do try switching (words from my pedi GI doctor) gradually mix in the new with the old a little at a time so it doesn't mess with his belly.

    You might want to ask your pedi for some advice on this one ;)  Good luck!
