I'm happy DH is home today and tomorrow and has been helping out a lot. he put together the crib, dresser, and is working on the changing table now. He is so excited! He also washed the dogs, so I can go home and give them cuddles without all the stink
mrsoliver916 I'm with you My Mondays are usually happy days, and Wednesdays are my bitchy days! I guess I'm just rested up from the weekend and it's harder to irk me. I'm sure I'll think of something for both though.
I think any day is fine for a happy post day. I'll play-my DH's grad school class threw us a surprise baby shower yesterday. Well, DH was in on the surprise. But it was so nice of them, I'm kinda hard to surprise and have never had a surprise party before. I was completely clueless, even when we got there and there were cars and balloons on the mailbox. I had a total blond moment and was like they are having a party I don't want to go in and interrupt (DH said he had to go by their house to pick up a textbook). It was casual and low key and a lot of fun. They all went in together and got our video monitor!! I've been very overwhelmed with all the love for us and this baby, especially in the last few weeks.
DH randomly cooked a turkey today so dinner tonight (and the rest of the week is done) and it's not just garlic bread like last time he "made dinner".
Married 11/23/11, TTC starting 10/12, BFP#1 11/30/12, Adoption of stepson finalized 03/19/13,Loss of our daughter at 20w4d due to incompetent cervix 03/27/13, BFP#2 06/28/13, DS2 born 3/1/14.
I got a child free/adult girls only afternoon! And then once I got home my 2 year old said "I misd you mama" as he gave me a big hug and kiss. Heart melted instantly!!!
