How often does your baby get sick?

I'm pondering this as I'm stuck under a sick baby AGAIN. I feel like Em has constantly been congested/had a cough/battled a fever since he was about 3 months old. Every time he starts to get over a cold, another one comes on. I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd or 4th time he's had a fever over 102. Does that seem like a lot to you?

My kids have been sick for 4 solid months except for the week we spent in Hawaii. They never get sick enough to go to dr or have fevers. It's just constant runny nose, congestion and cough. I can't wait for spring.

Same. I keep hoping it'll get better once the older kids in daycare are done with colds come spring. They DO get better come spring, right?

I've given up on counting. She's been sent home from school at least once a month because of fevers 101+ since August, that's not even counting the times she's been snotty/congested/etc etc or the times she's had fevers over the weekend...

We were 8 months strong and then she got 2 ear infections in 2 weeks!

3 ear infections so far and maybe 5 or 7 colds. Actually working on a cold right now thats still hanging around from her last ear infection.

Ok, thanks ladies! It sounds like some of you have had it just as rough. I was starting to wonder if I should be concerned about a weak immune system. I think I'll still ask the pedi in a couple of weeks at his appointment, but I'll try not to worry so much until then!

DS hasn't been sick yet (knock on wood) but he also doesn't go to day care or have siblings. He'll probably be sick the minute he hits school.

Only once thank goodness. Do you have a himidifier? I find Those help a lot.

Twice, ear infection at 6 months and a cold now. She is in daycare and has a sister in kindergarten. I, however, have been sick 4 or 5 times since August, so tired if it!

C had an ear infection over Christmas and a cold last week, so twice. I'm good with him never getting sick again! Hope your little guy gets better soon!

My LO has only been sick once since birth. I would maybe talk to your pedi about this. I know that most member of my family had their adenoids out and that improved things tremendously as far as constant runny nose. Something to think about. Hopefully your pedi will have suggestions.

Slight congestion once, but only clear mucus and he could always breathe through his nose - so I am not sure that counts. He doesn't go to daycare and is an only child.

I second this. I am a nervous wreck though waiting for the first cold.

My LO hasn't been sick yet either, but she has also been at home. She does have 2 siblings, but since they are 13 & 15, they don't get sick that often either.

DS has been sick once, with the flu. However I feel like Iucked out bc he spiked a fever for 1 day, and never had any other symptoms or acted sick. My ped said it was bc I bf and I bf'd him constantly while I had the flu so he got all my anti-bodies. It makes me never want to wean

Once a month is normal. Ours is about once a month or two.

All the freaking time. About 10 colds and 3 ear infections. RSV and bronchiolitis too. It's from daycare. And I've never had so many colds as I've had these past few months too. It sucks!
