I need some advice ladies!
The past 2 days I have had mild cramping (down there, and what I thought was Round ligament pain.)
Since yesterday I had 2 instances of VERY light spotting. Blood was bright red, but the spots were literally the size of a couple of pin pricks. I'm crampy today, and freaking out. I'm almost 5 months, so I'm not sure what is going on.
My next appointment is on Wednesday. I've had a bladder infection recently that supposedly was cleared up my doctor said. I also have had keytones in my urine from not drinking enough water. (I'm trying hard to get enough.)
I have a fetal doppler, and found the baby's heartbeat right away this morning, which made me feel a bit better.
My question being, have any of you experienced spotting this late in the game? I feel like I've called my doctor every week lately. I don't know if I should wait until they check me out on Wednesday, or go in.
Any advice or assurance is much appreciated.

Fingers crossed everything is fine with your LO!
My Doc said that as long as it's brown blood, she's not really concerned. I would call your Doc and see what she wants you to do just to be on the safe side.

Glad everything was okay, but sorry you're in pain! Hopefully you'll feel better soon.

Now that I'm drinking regularly, I rarely have cramping. But yes cramping can be very normal. Remember all the growth that has to happen, it doesn't just impact your uterus but everything down there has to move around to make room. Doing some yoga stretches can also help, and getting up for walks.
Severity of the cramping varies from woman to woman but definitely bounce this off your midwife or OB. Mine wasn't concerned so after time I stopped worrying as much.
