Morning everyone!
I stay at home with my daughter, and recently put an ad up for part time babysitting/child minding just to get some extra spending money.
I have an interview with a lady who is interested in part time care of her 15 month old, 3-4 times a week. I have No idea what to charge, since I'm sure she's going to ask my opinion on that.
What would you parents fairly pay for full-day part time care?
Should I charge an hourly rate? or if its 3 times a week at 8hrs a day, do a flat rate?
How about 3-5 hrs per day that is worked,( lets say she is going back 4 days a week but a minimum of 4 hrs per shift?)
I assume I will be preparing her daughters meals etc....
If any of you do child minding at home for someone, or are paying someone to watch your LO, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for reading!

Re: Child Minding rate etc...
This was a very low rate and I only agreed to it because she was having a hard time and it was short term. I would charge $25 - $30 a child per day, depending on if you are using your food or not.
Good luck! Extra spending money is always nice!
