Heartburn after l/o arives?

Has anyone else had heartburn after giving birth? My DD is eight days old and my heartburn is just as bad as when I was pregnant with her. Has anyone else had this? Did it eventually go away or do you have to keep taking med for it? TIA.

    I don't have heartburn. But perhaps it's the hormones adapting? I have other symptoms like night sweats. Call your doctor or ask at your next visit.

    Yes. It was horrible in the hospital and they wouldn't give me anything more than tums! It got better after a couple of weeks.
