My Aquarius Girl! (PIP)

I wanted to let everyone know that our Virgo Girl is officially a big sister to our Aquarius Girl! Faith was born on 1/26/14(another Feb. turned Jan.!) She was 5lbs 14oz and 18 in long. She's a tiny little thing at 38w 3d!

January was really hard on us and we are just happy to have a healthy baby girl. Labor was pretty laid back. I went into early labor on I would say... Jan. 23rd. I still went to work that Thursday and Friday, part of me thought they were stronger Braxton Hicks. That was enough for my MIL to hop a plan from Illinois that Friday... We wanted her here just in case, even though I wasn't due until the 6th. I was preparing DD1 for her dance recite on Sunday so that was at the forefront of my mind, not labor. Long story short, lost the plug on Sat. and was worried about her accelerations and decelerations since she'd been having them since early Jan so we headed in on Sat night to L&D just to make sure she was okay. Didn't have a bag packed so I put some stuff together.

Went in and was 4cm and 70% effaced. I was so shocked. I walked for 30 minutes and was 5-6cm and 80%. I was admitted and got a messy epidural. I bleed a lot while they were putting it in but I really really wanted the drugs.

A few hours later I had her at 9:45am after just two pushes. I pushed once and the told me to stop because the cord was tight around her neck. The doc handled that and one more push and she was out. I felt no ring of fire or anything, it was very similar to DD1's birth.

She's awesome and really, really beautiful!! After 9 years I feel like a new mom all over again. It's all coming back slowly but surely. I'm so excited that she's here!! My family is just eating her up and DD1 is just so in love! I feel so happy about that!
