Hi there. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. I have Hepatitis C and I am 7 weeks pregnant. I have been looking online for questions to ask my High Risk Doctor (once they set up the appointment, that is), and I can't really seem to find much. This is my 3rd pregnancy. The first died of SIDS 7 days after she was born, and I've had once miscarriage since. I'm much healthier now that I was in the previous pregnancy, but I'm obviously terrified of missing something. I've already looked at a bunch of *security devices* to make sure my infant is still breathing when he/she is sleeping.
Sorry, rambling....
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or advice. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
Re: High Risk with Hepatitis C
- Any additional screening, monitoring, meds in pregnancy
- Will it affect labor and delivery at all
- Is breastfeeding safe?
- How will baby be monitored and watched afterwards?
Hope that helps! Good luck. Another board to check out given your losses would be the Pregnant After Loss board, I found it very helpful in my second pregnancy to have the support of other women who understood how a previous loss affects being pregnant.
