Carpal Tunnel

Has anyone had experiences with preexsisting carpal tunnel and pregnancy? I have a fairly bad case of it and when I went to get new night splints fitted (dog chewed old ones!!! Gurrrrr) the tech that fitted them was saying how much worse it can get with hormone fluctuation in pregnancy. I have not heard of this before. Then I mentioned it to my mom and she said hers got worse when she was in first trimester with me! If you experienced it any treatments that worked for you? I know I won't be able to take some of my meds for it while pregnant so looking for other options.

    I didn't have a preexisting issue, but I had bad carpal tunnel through most of my pregnancy.

    Cold compresses and submerging my arms/ wrists in a bowl of cold water helped me a lot.  Good Luck!
