meal ideas

I need some new meal ideas that are healthy and relatively easy to make.  I am not a very good cook but can follow a recipe.  I am so sick of making the same things over and over.  I am also tired of my children turning their noses up at anything that isn't plain pasta, but that is another story.  So give me your favorite, family friendly, easy to prepare, healthy to semi healthy meal ideas.  I will take ideas for breakfast, lunch (especially those I can pack up for the kids), and dinner.  Thanks!

  • If you simmer garbanzo beans in pasta sauce on the stove, pasta-loving kids eat it right up! DS loves them.

  • I've been making this recipe weekly because I love the pasta part so much! And emery gobbled it up. Even the salmon and capers!

Mmmkay my jerk face phone won't let me post the link :( it's whole wheat spaghetti with lemon basil and salmon by giada if you want to Google it.

  • My girls gobbled up mini meatloaf the other night. It's 1lb lean ground beef, half an onion finely chopped, half a green pepper finely chopped, 1/2 can dice tomatoes drained, 3/4 cup oatmeal, 1 egg, pepper. Mix together and put in cupcake tin. I line mine with the foil liners, but take out the paper. Cook at 350 for 25min. Topping is 1/2c ketchup with 3Tbsp brown sugar. Top meat loaf and put back in the oven for 5 - 10 minutes.

You can also add more veggies if you like.
