Has anyone ever rented a movie from amazon to watch on a tablet? We have a weekend trip coming up with a 4 hour drive. I was hoping to rent some movies for DS to watch on my tablet in the car. How long do you get to view them for?
Officially they say that you have 30 days to start watching but then once you start it, you only have 24 hours to finish it. But I rented some Christmas things and they stuck around at least several days and let us watch them more than once. Those were tv episodes rather than films, however.
The trouble with streaming in the car is that you'll be on something like 3G, which means it will eat up your data allowance in no time.
That's not a problem if you download, especially if you load up before leaving the house (and assuming you have a wireless network at home), but then you have to be sure you have disk space.
We only have two episodes of cartoons on our iPad, for airplane trips, and I swear that's half our memory right there.
Thanks @kristennd that makes sense! Yes I thought I would download on Friday before we leave. I just didn't know if he could watch the movie more than once.
