Hi ladies,

I was an occasional poster while pregnant. I just realized about a month ago that people stuck around. How great it has been getting tips from those with babies the same age. I wish I logged on earlier!

Here's our stats: Back at work, mix of pumping and formula (latching/supply issues, lots of tears, blah blah blah), disposable diapers, STN (yay), sucky at naps (boo), total failure at tummy time (face plant every time - terrified for when she rolls over), doing all the rec vacs, still undecided on car seat usage (kidding).

I'll share my delivery story b/c it is kind of funny. I must have been nervous getting undressed at the hospital b/c I took a big gash out of my nose with my nail. It bled for hours and almost delayed my scheduled CS (low fluid). Hours later, incision was bleeding. Put under (1st epidural didn't go well, dangerous drops in blood pressure) to fix bleed. Woke up with no tooth (huh?). Allegedly, I got feisty while waking up and pulled the tube out of my throat and broke my front tooth. They so kindly paid for it to be fixed so feisty my ass! Anyway, I left the hospital with a huge scab on my nose, no front tooth and a blood drip bag hanging out of me. If the nurses hadn't witnessed it all, they would have called the cops on my DH.

Haha, most of us don't feel lovely right after giving birth but don't look like we were in a bar fight! Your pics should be titled "you should see the other guy"!
