Get nutty. Pregnant and new moms alike will get a ton of goodness out of noshing on nuts today. The crunchy (and convenient) snack is full of healthy fats (including those brain-boosting omega-3s we mentioned earlier), protein, fiber and a variety of vitamins and minerals. When pregnant, they’ll help make a dent in the 800 milligrams of magnesium you're supposed to get and help reduce the risk of premature labor as well as aid in the development of your baby's nervous system.
