hating my town more and more

There was a home invasion within 4 blocks from us last night. The daughter had left the door unlocked and a guy in his 30s entered right through the front door. Luckily, their dog scared him away and no one got hurt. As far as I know, the guy wasn't caught. More and more reasons to try to figure out a way to sell and get out of this area. So depressing.
