Some good friends are having a SB party. They're making pulled pork and wings.
I'm bringing a pizza dip and a chocolate brownie dip. I wanted to make a buffalo chicken dip, too, but that might be considered dip overload. I enjoy dip.
We are also bringing beer. This all makes me very happy .
We're heading to the ILs for steak and ribs right now, then to my parents this evening for some buffalo wings. Now I just have to figure out what to feed my vegan 14 year old...
We're going to my sisters. I made white bean and fennel dip, stuffed jalapeños, and buffalo cauliflower. In my attempt to lose some weight the jalapeños are from Cook This, Not That and the cauliflower is a Skinny Girl recipe. Not sure about them yet... sounds a little odd but figured I'd give it a try.
It's this delicious concoction of cream cheese, sour cream, ham or pancetta (you choose), sharp cheddar, jalepenos all mixed together, shoved into a loaf of French bread and baked. We eat it with tortilla chips!
We're having deer burgers, crystal hotsauce wings, smoked sausage, hotdogs, deer backstrap, pork n beans, & garlic bread all cooked up on the BBQ pit! yummm! Along with king cake for dessert!!
I'm avoiding dairy so made salsa to take with us to our party with chips along with some cupcakes. There will be all sorts of cheesy goodness I'll have to avoid
Reading about all of the foods, I'm kind of sad we're not having or going to a SB party this year. I'm making chicken pot pie for dinner, but if I had remembered it was the SB is weekend, it would have been frito pie instead.

Oh, and bloody Mary's - my first one in almost a year. Can't wait.
