Medication Delivery Left Out in 5 Degree Temps, ugh

My big box of meds came earlier this week.  FedEx never rang the bell when they came and just dropped the box on my front stoop at 9 am.  All day I looked out the little window by the door and saw nothing. Finally at 6pm I opened the front door to investigate further and saw the package sitting there way off to the side and out of view of the window.  When I brought the box inside all the boxes of meds were freezing cold.  The temp high that day was about 5 degrees so well below freezing. 

All the boxes of meds and pills say to store them between 30 and 80 degrees.  I'm always a paranoid mess about my meds and having them sit outside in the very cold air for 8 hours makes me scared to inject them.  I did call the pharmacy and she said she's not concerned so I shouldn't be.  I know this all sounds silly, but I still can't shake the anxiety.  I start my meds tomorrow am after my baseline appt. 

Anyone have issues like this with their med delivery???

Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
IVF #2: Apr '14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
IVF #3: June '14 ... Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    Mine sat outside all day too but it wasn't that cold. Your not being silly I would be the same way!

    Guess if pharmacy said it was ok then it is? Hopefully others chime in for your peace of mind.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Thanks Becky.  Got a few other responses on the IF board.  Everyone agrees to trust the pharmacist so I guess at this point I have to. Tomorrow's my baseline and first injection in the am.  Time to just do it.

    Actually I can tell you as a nurse we are more worried if a med gets to hot , it breaks down the ingredients. That's why a lot of liquid meds need to be refrigerated..as did my orvidrel shot..good luck on your cycle!

    I wouldn't worry too much... but I know I would have freaked out too... good luck on your baseline!!

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    Thanks @ksgsmu!  Baseline was good this am and got the go ahead to start shots.  Did my first one this am without issue after the appointment.  However, I always have psychosomatic symptoms.  Already feeling like that one shot has changed my whole feeling in my body, lol.  I do know it's just my mind playing tricks on me, so trying to combat the IVF protocol anxiety I get.

    My gut says trust the pharmacist. I'd rather have my meds sit in the cold weather than out in the hot weather. Confirm with your doctor tomorrow. I bet it will be fine.
