DH has been such a rock star lately. I am in the last full semester of school (not counting upcoming summer session) and have just been going full-tilt. This weekend he has taken LO like, a million times, so I have a nice quiet house to get work done. I haven't been able to work at night like usual since LO has been a sick (cough/congestion/pink eye) teething f*ing crazy lunatic this week! Love you hubs!

Great idea! H gets up with the girls almost every morning which allows me to sleep until 7:30 or so. He also is so good about cleaning the kitchen and making coffee every night before bed so we have a pot ready first thing. Also, I love watching him do Ava's hair. It takes him like twice as long as me, but I think it's so cute.

He's really good about making sure we get out of the house during this phase of horrible weather - I'm inclined to become a shut-in, but he always makes fun plans for us during the day on the weekends, even if it is just something dumb like "let's go walk around the mall."

He vocally recognizes that I do more childcare than he does, and encourages me to go out with girlfriends, plan trips, get manicures, etc...

He makes me laugh every single day.

He's just a great dad, all-around!

When I get stressed about work DH tells me how proud he is of my career and brags to the guys at the firestation about his wife. His pride in me helps me get through the rough times. On his days off from work he has Fin and takes him hiking and pulls him in the sled up the mountains. He is so hands on, I love it.

DH is out of work right now due to an injury. He is with Ella everyday when I'm at work and I don't get the 100 phone calls I thought I would. DH good shops very week..with Ella. He is always supportive of me. And my favorite part..HE WASHES THE BOTTLES ( they are dr brown I'm sick of all the parts)

My DH is completely awesome. He still buys me flowers and comes home with sweet things to surprise me with after being with him almost 11 years. He is there for me in almost every way and is a great father. He has such a big heart and helps anyone who needs it. He tells me he doesn't care if I shower or wear pajamas all day, he still tells me I look beautiful. And if that wasn't enough he is an AWESOME cook. I couldn't imagine a more perfect partner for myself.

Your guys H sound so sweet. My H is great every time he plays with LO I want to take pictures they are just smiling and laughing. He changes diapers and let's me sleep in. He feeds and watches her all the time. He is all around a good guy.

Not only is H an awesome dad but he also got a new job (hopefully more money and better hours for our family). Unfortunately, insurance doesn't kick in at the new job for 60 days. We are all on his insurance. So he is working both jobs (7 days/week) and still has got a positive attitude when he comes home at night. The best part is when he comes home and I see how excited DH and DS are to see each other. He used to work nights so this has been awesome!

We work different schedules and get one hour to grab lunch and switch with the baby. DH rules! Somehow we make it work. He reminds me of what is important and always listens to me. It's been hard on both of us to see each other so little but we make our time count.

My husband stays home two days with our son while I work. Then he works the remaining 5 days. He is such a great hands on dad! He doesn't get much done around the house on his days, but when I get home there are toys everywhere and I can tell they played their hearts out!! And he calls his days "daddy days" and loves to tell me about what all they did each day. I know he really enjoys his time with DS. He also walks in the door after work and jumps right in to helping me with dinner, cleaning, or whatever needs to be done. Never complains.

I am proud of him for taking some time to himself and taking up his old hobbies with his friends again. It's important to me that we have friends and get away once in a while.

I am grateful for everything he does. He is equal in parenting and taking care of T when he is home and if I get behind on housework he doesn't nag me, he helps me out. Now that T can destroy every laundry pile I make and climb into the dishwasher chores just aren't as quick as they used to be lol.

I can't wait for my DH to do my DD's hair! I know it is going to be hilarious!! That is so cute that it takes your DH twice as long. :-)

My husband gets up with B everyday - I get her to 6AM and then she's all his. We both work from home, so some days he's able to keep her content until 9 or 10AM so I can sleep, then she gets hungry and that's something he can't do anything about

It's funny, today we ventured into the insanity that is the Brooklyn IKEA on a Sunday and at one point B and I got about 30 feet ahead of him in the mayhem, so I stopped and turned around to wait for him and just seeing him smiling at me and trying to make his way towards us in the crowd got me all teary - like of all the people in the world, I found him and he's the perfect one for me.

When he got to us I gave him a hug and told him that he's the most amazing husband and father and that I love him so much. He was surprised, but happy to hear it. Then tonight as I was making dinner, he said he had to run out and came back with a bottle of champagne for 'the most amazing woman in Brooklyn'. So frickin' sweet.

Now he's out watching the game with friends and I'm sipping some sparkly and surfing the bump

No complaints here. My husband kinda rocks!

I've been so sick the last few days, with a temp of 101-103. DH is working 12 hour days with a 1 hour commute each way and remodeling our home on top of that. He's been doing everything around here bc I'm so miserable. He truly is the best. He is also letting his buddy from work take his car while his truck is in the shop for a week, that way he still has a way around. I thought that was super nice.

My Husband does an amazing job with our Daughter. He works evenings and I work days. He stays home every day with her and does the "stay at home dad" thing. Then he works until 2 am and has to wake up with her at 7:30 each morning. He is getting NO sleep, but loves being with her and doesn't want to hire anyone! They play and he cracks her up all day long. I love watching them together.

I could not answer this yesterday because I was too annoyed with him. Today I can.

He wakes up with DS every morning, changes most diapers when he is home, does a lot of the diaper laundry and regular laundry, and helps wash bottles. He also does daycare drop off and often the pickup as well. Oh, and most bath times. So I guess he is a keeper!
