Haven't done one of these in a while, so here you go!
I have two. First, I am side eyeing one of my customers. We are on the verge of agreeing to a huge project with them and they keep trying to play us against each other. They have done this the whole time but now it's getting old. First, they visited with out competitor and we dropped our price to be competitive. Then they started threatening to buy part of the project from somewhere else in efforts to get a better deal (which we know they will not). Now they are telling one of my coworkers they do not like our pricing, thinking they will get something better from him. Please stop trying to screw us to get "a better deal." You will eventually end up with nothing.
Second, I am side eyeing my SIL, like always. She had ILs consign for a $16,000 car this week. She's on public assistance and can't afford a bigger place for her family, but yet needs a car that expensive. I would think having a bedroom for your child would trump buying a new car.

Goodbye my second angel (9/18/2011)
That's me being bitter!
Oh, I absolutely agree. A car is especially important when you have a baby! My issue here is that she had one. She just needed to have THIS one. She gets all sorts of free baby formula and other benefits, then goes and buys a car that costed more than either of my full sized trucks. Tell me that doesn't seem a bit.... Off. I know, her money her decision and I would never tell her what to do with it but stuff like that makes me a bit judgy.
@mylittlesunshine that's really special right there. Ugh.
I do sided eye women who are obsessed with the sex if their child. What's the rush of knowing sooner? You still have 7+ months before they are born.
I side eye women who get induced before 40 weeks with no medical reason whatsoever besides "being over being pregnant." I don't think women know how crucial it is to let the baby cook for the full 40 weeks. I was over being pregnant by 30 weeks. I was induced the day after my due date because my doctor was scared the baby would get too big for me to have naturally. And I'm not talking about women who are pregnant with multiples or have a medical issue that makes them have to have their baby early. Just the impatient ones. I think doctor's shouldn't be allowed to induce before 40 weeks and unless medically necessary.
A number of hospitals in MA instituted a voluntary "ban" on elective inductions and elective c-sections before 39 weeks. They found a significant decrease in complications and NICU time, and they are pushing to make it both wider (statewide instead of around Boston) and not voluntary.
