NBR: Getting gel ink stains out of clothes?

Does anybody have any experience getting black gel ink out of clothes? DH left a pen in his pocket and it went through the washer and dryer.  All the clothes now have small black ink stains.  This is just awesome since there are brand new clothes in this load that were just bought for DS1. And the inside of my dryer is now ink stained. 
Would you soak in oxy-clean on warm or use stain remover on each ink spot? I've never had to deal with this before.

    Have you tried hair spray? It works great to take ball point pen out, but I haven't tried it on gel ink.

    @moosebaby2011 - if only I owned hair spray!  The only hair product I own is gel and curling cream. 

    I read online that hair gel can work too, I wonder if it's the alcohol in it that makes it work? 

    I may try soaking in oxy clean for now, and will go buy some hair spray if it doesn't work.
