Our baby has a weenie!

Went in for a checkup yesterday due to my hyperemesis (which has since subsided yay!) and he decided to do an ultrasound to check on baby. Baby has a weenie!!! S/O and I are so excited! First male to be born in his family in 23 years. :D happy Sunday!

  • Thanks! @funnibunni80 I didn't think we would for another month being that I'm only 16 weeks. I'm really glad I have an awesome doctor, the extra month would have killed me with anticipation.

Random but how many weeks were you when your hyperemesis subsided? If you have a ticker I can't see in mobile. I'm just wondering because I'm going through it too and I'm curious because everyone's end (or keeps going throughout) at different times. Thanks :)

ETA: I meant to write congrats too lol boys are so much fun ( not that girls aren't, I just can only speak for having a boy haha.

  • I would still wait until your 20 week ultrasound before buying anything!   I'm not sure when things change, but I was told at 15 weeks and a couple of days that our baby was most likely a boy (due to seeing what looked like a penis on the ultrasound), but now it looks like we're having a girl!  Early on the parts look VERY similar, so it's best to wait a little longer just to be sure :)
