So, we have always used this bath boppy thing (made for the tub), but it is now gross. Not a washable kind of thing. My question is what do you use in the tub so LO won't slip while sitting?
We don't use anything, but I have seen where people put the kid in a laundry basket in the water. I don't know if it would make much difference or not.
We don't use anything. We tried a no slip mat for awhile but it kept un-suctioning from the bottom of the tub and it was driving me insane. They shouldn't really need anything special for the tub anymore...
nothing, i never did, i sit there with her the whole time. at this age she swims all over the tub, the only one who actually uses a mat for bath time is the hubby, i think its gross and a pain.
We don't use anything. I tried and non-slip thing it it kept moving. I do sit by the tub to watch LO while bathing. She has fallen over but I've been right there to catch her.
We actually use a blow-up tub - I like it, we could probably drop it by now and she would be fine - its just an easy way for us to contain her, uses less water then filling the huge tub and she seems happy
we have a bath seat. I never had one with my first, but it was too much to worry about when I was washing my older ones hair.My LOdoesn't like to sit still and would go under very easily. I also have a nanny and thought it would be easier.
We don't use anything... LO is all over the tub - sitting, standing... he takes a bath with our 3 yo so they have a ton of fun splashing around all over the place. There is no way I could get him to sit! Although, with my first I do remember bathtime being much more calm!

We use a bath seat/ring. Initially bc DS has some physical delays. I've tried putting him in the tub without it and he gets upset. He is a cautious kid (maybe bc of his physical delays) so he gets scared slipping around in the tub. We will use it until he is comfortable without it or until he doesn't fit in it any more.

We almost always take shower instead of baths now.. we have a non slip rubber mat and he is way better about not goofing off with showers than baths.
He has always been a water baby and went straight into the big tub with a towel on the bottom soon as his cord fell off.. had a bath seat for a month or so once he was sitting well.. but then pretty much went straight into showers after that unless we just feel like a splash bath fest ... he loves showers but not all kids are water freaks lol
