Parenting after a Loss

Stroller hack! (Rusalka)

So, a friend gave me this idea so it's not really mine, but I figured maybe I'm not the only mama who suffers from a stroller on the cheap side... basically, DD's stroller wouldn't allow her to sit up even at the tightest setting - it just has a little adjustable strap in the back - so she was always slightly reclined. Which has become less and less ideal as she's gotten older and wants to look around/eat snacks/etc. Well, my friend had the same problem and used an old belt across the bars in the back to basically give her stroller another support, and I just did the same thing, and it works like a charm! Yay, not needing to buy a new stroller!

At least until we need a double stroller, way down the line. Oh, boy.

Re: Stroller hack! (Rusalka)

  • I love my BOB double.. but, this is my biggest complaint about it!! DS has to essentially support himself sitting up, because even on the most inclined position, he's still reclined a bit.. I don't understand why so many of the different brands don't allow them to really sit upright, either?!  It's very frustrating!! Glad to hear about your fix :)
