Hello...new to this board

Hi there! ?I just wanted to say hello. ?I'm new to the baby bored (I used to go on the Nor Cal board every so often), since DH & I decided we'd start TTC. ?So, here I am! ?:-) ?I have a question....has or did anyone on here get pregnant the first month after being off BC? ?I know it's rare, I was just curious. ?I just went off this month.

    Actually, after reading the posts on the board...it looks like most people are already pregnant or have babies. ?Maybe I need to go on the 'getting pregnant' board. Oh well...I'm still saying hello!

    Hi & welcome! Don't run off too quick! Wink Yes, I did get pregnant my first month off....with twins....and I lived in Dublin at the time. Beware of that water over there. Wink Funny story, when I went in for my first u/s I was one of 4 twin pregnancies that my doctor had in a week. Crazy!

    Anyway, good luck to you and hope to see you on here more often!

    Hi! Nice to see you over here! It was 3 months after stopping BC for me. But we weren't necessarily *actively* trying just not using BC anymore.

    Welcome!  I got pg after being off bc for 2 months, but we were BD every day.  I've heard it can happen after 1 month.  GL on your TTC journey!

    It could happen.. It took us 4 months. There are woman at all stages on this board, and most with kids were all TTC at one point right :)

    Welcome! Please don't run off, we have some girls ttc here too, and all of us have "been there". It took me a lot longer than 1 month to get pg but it does happen. In fact many of my friends got pg on the first cycle off. GL ttc, I hope you are one of the lucky ones and get pg right away.

    Hi...I'm new too, although I used to be on the nor cal board awhile back myself. 

    We just got pregnant...went off the pill 3 months prior but did not TTC until this month..and here we are!

    Welcome! Good luck on TTC-ing! I can list several friends of mine who got pregnant right after going off BC. It can definitely happen.
