We're not quite there yet, but I am just curious to know when EBF mommies started introducing solids just for taste / texture experience.
My LO is doing great w/ EBF, he is a robust 17 lbs and not even 4 months. I think when we are ready, I would like him to try some mashed avocado and sweet potato as starter foods. I am mainly thinking of letting him try a little bit just for sake of experience, I'm not intending to replace feedings or begin weaning.
When did you intro solids?

When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

Luckily she also met a personal preference I had to having her first tooth (which I heard is indicative of a maturing digestive system). This was at about 6.5 months.
She is a fairly advanced eater. Most babies don't really get much down until 10 months or so. She was plowing through three meals a day by 8 or 9 months.
No need to rush solids. After the six month mark, look for those milestones that indicate his readiness for solids and go from there.
