This is...normal right?

I've gone from feeling the baby kick twice a day, to every few hours to all of a sudden, all. damn. day.  I just have a mental picture of a roly-poly going to town in there.

That's a good thing, right?  FTM here lol.

  • You feel it more as the grow and run out of room. They may have been that active all along....
  • Loading the player...
  • Yeah, at my ultrasound about six weeks ago, the nurse said she was already super active and I'd soon feel it, but I had no idea how it would feel.  This is all still super surreal to me. :)

  • Yep! I read somewhere that you may not feel as much movement toward the end because of the little room they have to move around!
It's such a great feeling! I like it when you're further along and see a foot or elbow move across your belly!

  • The past few days my little man hasn't stopped moving, the kicks are getting pretty strong!
  • The last two weeks have changed the amount I feel dramatically. I went from a kick once every few days and flutters if I was very very still to kicks several times a day and flutters whenever I actually pay attention. I can't wait until she's kicking all the time :)

  • She is mostly a moving and shaking dancing queen but she also has some quiet days. I don't like those... I just calm myself by saying that she's turned a bit. Give her a day and she's usually back to partying.
  • I think so! As they get bigger you feel them more because their space gets smaller. I have been feeling her pretty much all day and now even when I'm up doing stuff I used to only feel when I was sitting down

    It's a BOY

  • Yes, it's normal to feel the movement differently as the baby and your uterus changes.

My lil dude has been so actively tap dancing all day today I feel like I've been kicked in my lady parts. I'm 27 weeks. Please baby kick something else!
  • This past week I've gone from kicks and jabs to big rolls and full body shifting. I like watching my belly make waves!

    Baby #2 due 4/26/16!

  • My ultrasound tech said "an active baby is a healthy baby!" That's good and these few weeks I heard they should be the most active. Enjoy it!
  • From pretty early on (probably about 14 weeks) my drs have been amazed at how much the baby moves. Then I finally felt it many weeks later on a regular basis. My husband felt LO for the first time a week ago and he said "how do you sleep with that". It's literally ALL day and I know baby has a lot of growing left to do. I think it's fun. :)

  • Yep, normal. I have twins and they are both head down right now, so I have four feet high in my belly. I think their position makes a difference too. It's like a constant party in my belly... But I love it!
  • I feel more squirms and rolls than kicks now. I think she's running out of room. I swear I've felt fingers or toes tickling me!

My baby has been doing this for like 2 weeks. The dr. said he was head down at my appointment, so I guess he is punching me in my lady parts. Not the most comfortable feeling.
