Sweaty feet?

Anyone know if this is something to be concerned about? My DD's feet aren't just a little sweaty but they get drenched! Even if it's not very warm and even if I don't put socks or footed sleepers on her. It's the strangest thing..

Re: Sweaty feet?

  • DD has pretty sweaty feet, she's sweaty in general, but I wouldn't say her feet get drenched. Her head does, she'll wake up from a nap and her head will be soaked, her feet just feel wet. I don't think it's anything to seriously worry about but maybe just ask the pediatrician about it?

  • We keep the house at 68F, and sometimes, especially if she has socks on, her feet will get a little sweaty.  Never drenched though.  I usually make sure she is dressed pretty cool in the house, she seems to always be a little warm.

  • I'm dealing with the same thing. LO has sweaty hands and feet but the feet are really bad. I can actually see the sweat drops.
  • My baby's feet (and sometimes hands) get so sweaty I can see the drops. And that'll happen if she's naked, so I know she's not in too many clothes. I mentioned it to her doctor the other day. Doctor didn't seem concerned what so ever. But maybe at your next appointment, ask just to put your mind at ease.

I guess we just have sweaty babies :)
  • My lo will get droplets of sweat on his nose when he nurses after taking a bath. It's cute! He's not wearing too many clothes and not was the bath too hot. He just gets sweaty. I'm not concerned.
  • Sweaty/clammy feet over here, too. And they stink! I think LO got her daddy's feet.
