Good Morning  Afternoon All!  (What the heck? Where did the week go? Sorry for the lame questions didn't have time to come up with something fun.)

Happy Friday, we made it through another week! Hope everyone is doing well, and has a great weekend!

1) Will you be watching the Super Bowl this weekend? Will you watch for the game or the commercials?
2) Who will you be rooting for?
Other plans for the weekend?
------------------------------
1) If you are a sports fan do you dress your kid(s) in your favorite sports team attire?
2) Do you put your kids in 'seasonal' pajamas?  (Do you buy different ones for seasons, holidays) or do they just have summer, and winter pajamas? Why?

Re: `*`*` GTKY & YK(s) Friday `*`*`

  • 1) Yes I will be watching the game, for the game, and the commercials are just a bonus.  Really looking forward to seeing Bruno Mars at halftime too!
    2) BRONCOS - always been a Bronco fan being from Denver and all. B-)

Other plans for the weekend?  No, since I was supposed to be on modified bed rest this weekend, and I was cancelled we have no plans. :(
    ------------------------------
    1) No he is too old for that but when he was a baby, I dressed him in Nuggets basketball jerseys and shorts.
    2)  I used to just have seasonal pajamas for him, (I never thought about seasonal pajamas for him, maybe because i didn't have them as a kid) but now he just wears shorts (And t-shirt if he is cold)  all year round.

    1) If you are a sports fan do you dress your kid(s) in your favorite sports team attire? We are not spots fans but we have john deere tractor clothing.
    2) Do you put your kids in 'seasonal' pajamas?  (Do you buy different ones for seasons, holidays) or do they just have summer, and winter pajamas? Why?   I buy seasonal pajamas after they are cheap.  We are still only size 3 though so we don't get to buy many cloths around here someone hasn't grown much.

  • Will watch some of it, rooting for the broncos bc I like Payton Manning. Also not rooting for the Seahawks because they knocked the Saints out of the playoffs!

Jeffrey has both Saints and Ole Miss (my husband's alma mater) tshirts. We do have some seasonal pjs - the inlaws like to give them as presents.

Hope everyone has a good weekend! Momarazzi, hope y'all feel better soon!
  • 1) Will you be watching the Super Bowl this weekend? Will you watch for the game or the commercials? I will be watching, mostly for the commercials and to just hang out with my family and the friend we invited over. 2) Who will you be rooting for? Broncos, I guess. Don't really care too much, I'm a Bears fan. Other plans for the weekend? Nothing much. I have to help with a sub sandwich fundraiser for our church youth group. Then play handbells with our church bell choir and sing with the church choir. ------------------------------ 1) If you are a sports fan do you dress your kid(s) in your favorite sports team attire? I try to get DD something for each of our college teams. 2) Do you put your kids in 'seasonal' pajamas? (Do you buy different ones for seasons, holidays) or do they just have summer, and winter pajamas? Why? I used to for just about every holiday, now I only do if I manage to find them on clearance after the holiday for the next year. I do try to have seasonal shirts for each holiday though.

  • 1. I will be casually watching for both the game and the commercials.
    2. I don't have a strong preference but would like to see Payton win.

    1. No sports apparel for ds just because I've never bothered to buy any. There is some Indiana University apparel in his closet that is currently to big for him (hand-me-downs) that I would like to accidentally send to goodwill or something. DH knows they're there though, so I might just have to trump it with Illinois attire instead.
    2.  DS has a couple pairs of Christmas pajamas but that's it for holiday pajamas. I do get him cooler pajamas for warmer months and footed pajamas for winter. His room is pretty drafty.

  • 1) Will you be watching the Super Bowl this weekend? Will you watch for the game or the commercials? I'm sure MH will have it on. I'm more interested in the commercials and the nachos I plan on making :)
    2) Who will you be rooting for? Peyton. He's funny on SNL.
Other plans for the weekend? Errands today, and hopefully getting outside to play since it will actually be about 0*...until tomorrow.
    ------------------------------
    1) If you are a sports fan do you dress your kid(s) in your favorite sports team attire? MH is really into hockey, so the girls have Blackhawks jerseys. We both played sports in college, so they have sweatshirts from there.
    2) Do you put your kids in 'seasonal' pajamas?  (Do you buy different ones for seasons, holidays) or do they just have summer, and winter pajamas? Why? DD1 prefers to sleep in just undies year round - she's crazy. DD2 follows more of a seasonal pattern, but will mix it up every now and then. They always get new Christmas jammies.

  • 1) We'll watch. But at 9pm I will watch Downton and then return for the end of the game. :) Much like New Year's Eve, DH and I make our fave party foods and then not invite anyone over.

    2) Another vote for Peyton. Good for him. I understand why Indianapolis did what they did- he had surgery and no one knows what the future holds, but he handled the whole thing gracefully and I'm happy that he gets to return to the Superbowl. Plus, he's hilarious on SNL and one of my favorite celebrities.

    DS:
    1) He had a Browns jersey but that's about it. DH is more into sports than I am, but we don't go crazy with sports clothes. I've only ever owned one Cleveland Indians hat but gave it away to someone at a game (long story).

    2) DS only really likes Carter's pajamas- they don't have tags. He wears long-sleeved in cold weather, short sleeved in warm weather, and tends to like the pants rather than the shorts when we get the mix and match sets. I buy Christmas jammies but that's about it.

  • @JimBobCooter As a NE Ohioan, that makes me LOL! Even kids are smart enough to know! My DH (and so many of his buddies) swear they're never watching the Browns again after every other game. Yet every week, they can't leave the house from 1-4 on Sunday. :)
