need clomid? - DELETING

Hey ladies!!  Sorry for the mix-up.  Had a question about potentially sharing extra meds and realize that it probably is not appropriate (legal/moral).

ME - 31, DH - 40

Married 06/25/2011, TTC since 03/2012

BFP #1 on 11/13/12 -- EDD 7/24/13 -- M/C (CP) on 11/21/12

BFP #2 on  7/21/13 -- EDD 3/29/14 -- M/C (CP) on 7/31/13

09/4/13 - 4/16/14 -- IUI #1 - 6 = BFNs :(

7/13/14 -- IVF #1 w/ ICSI

ER on 7/26/14 -- 20 R, 15 M, 11 F

ET on 7/31/14 -- 1 transferred (4bb); 8 frosties!!!

BFP #3 on 8/8/14 -- EDD 04/18/15

BETA #1:  473,  BETA #2: 1009, BETA #3: 1975

    I believe that it is as well.  Thought I saw someone else on here do something similar.  Thanks for the feedback ladies.  I will dispose of them...just hate doing it!

    I know what you mean. Those meds are so expensive it's hard to just throw them out. I have about 300iu oh Gonal in my fridge that's going to go bad that I didn't use and every time I look at it I see $300.

    You can turn them into police stations, they use them for less developed countries. My local hospital takes them as well.

    Bring them back to the prescribers office they can use them for someone else if approproate or safely dispose of them!

    Me: 30 dx w/PCOS 7/13
    DH: 31
    TTC 11/12
    started Metformin 9/13
    HSG, tubes open but narrow uterus... f/u with RE 3d u/s everything 'normal'
    2/14: hopefully 1st IUI... timing off before trip, waiting until 4/14
    3/27: POAS= BFP!!!
    3/28: beta#1: 108
    4/2: beta#2: 799
    4/11: u/s 6w1d EDD 12/4, 1 little penguin!

    7/7:  We're having a girl!
    12/11: after lots of labor/delivery/nicu excitment baby Piper Mae born 1859 @ 8lbs, 21.5"

    That's interesting, I'll have to remember this. I doubt they want fertility meds though. When my mom died I had to flush tons of medication. She had a bottle of her chemo drug that she just got filled that cost $1500 and tons of pain meds. Her hospice nurses told me they couldn't take it I had to dispose of it.

    Yeah for sure, they take any meds! Ipthe police station might have donation months or days, but all meds are out to use. . Whether they use them for animal testing, or clinical trials, or send them internationally. If they are labeled and can be identified, they're good. Obvi they don't want ziplock lol

    Definitely donate to your re or whomever prescribed the meds. They can give them to someone who may not have insurance coverage.

    My RE said it happens all the time where patients share meds as long as they aren't 'buying' them and they are safe, i.e.e new needles...

    Married since March 2008 -- Me- 31    DH - 30  Trying to grow our family since 2009... Diagnosed Unexplained Infertility 

    Started seeing RE Aug 2013

    Cycle #1  – IUI #1  10.31.13 - BFN

    Cycle #2 - IUI #2 cancelled – FAIL

    Cycle #3 - IUI #2 12.27.13  BFN

    Cycle #4 -  IUI #3 1.24.14  BFN

    Cycle #5 - IVF #1 with ICSI(2 3bb blasts) 3.19.14, no frosties.. BFN


    Surprise BFP on 6.10.14 ... Miscarried 7.7.14 


    Walked away from Fertility Treatments and began to look into our Foster/Adopt License in April 2014.
