Disney peeps: Where have you stayed?

We are thinking about renting studios in Animal Kingdom Lodge in September from DVC owners, although we are still considering Boardwalk Villas (another DVC rental), or Shades of Green / Art of Animation (parents are military and traveling with us) if we want to be cheaper about it.

Where have you stayed (especially on property), and did you love it?

    We recently stayed at one of the Marriott hotels off site it was ok nothing fancy but we had free nights. About 8 years ago we stayed at the pop century resort. Again nothing fancy just a standard hotel room I believe there was a cafe in the main building and the bus transport was available. On our recent trip we walked through the boardwalk villas and shades of green both were very nice.

    We always stay at Shades of Green and we love it! I mean it's not fancy dancy like the other resorts on site, but it has everything we possibly need. It's still a really nice resort and you get basically everything you would at the other resorts for a lot cheaper.

    I have stayed in the a lot from all star to deluxe. I have heard great things about animal lodge. Also buses run more frequently to the delux resorts.

    My parents live near Disney so I stay with them from the little I know BW Villas is cool
    Have fun we are doing Disney and Legoland some time this summer. We are going to Sesame place this spring

    My sister always stays at Animal Kingdom lodge and they love it. I've stayed at the all-stars resort. It's ok. My friend loves Art of Animation. I've also stayed at Saratoga Springs resort most recently but thought it was nothing great.

    This is very helpful. We are leanings towards renting points for two studios at Animal Kingdom but if a great deal for points comes in we may do a two bedroom in Old Key West (or if I get a better than expected bonus, hahaha). Sounds like it is hard to go wrong!
