My mom volunteered to watch the kiddos so DH and I could go out. But DH said we're "going out" right here in our house, with take out, beer and wine. We haven't done this in years so I'm looking forward to it.

Chili and ribs!?!! Sounds good and I like watching my H handle the leg work for gatherings. It helps him understand my stress when I'm hosting 50 people at my house.

Side note: Can I just ask how people throw parties with babies that are sleeping? Do you have a huge house? Granted we have a small-ish 2br apartment, but I'm pretty sure that L would absolutely wake up if we made more noise than usual conversation, even with her white noise blaring.

Anyways, DH and I are ordering wings, drinking beer, and watching it at home together.

BRONCOS! tried to make orange and navy cupcakes today, the frosting is more a Seahawks blue than a navy, so I may have to do orange frosting with orange sprinkles instead. We are hosting

@Pink724--we have a somewhat large house but LO's room is right over the living room--so I will just crank the white noise and hope for the best! Can't guarantee he won't wake briefly with all the excitement when the Broncos win!

We're going to my co-worker's house for a party. I was going to pass, but DH wanted to go. I normally have no problem NIP, but I don't want to nurse the baby in front of a bunch of 50 year old guys from work. So, I'll be hiding in empty rooms in a 50 year old guy's house. Almost as awkward.
