I know they're not technically free ($12.95 shipping), but if anyone is interested in baby leggings, babyleggings.com is running a promo code "BEMINE14" where you get 5 free leggings and then each additional is $2.

edit: updated the shipping.. only 12.95!

Re: PSA: Baby Leggings

  • I ordered 5 pairs yesterday…. I wanted to keep ordering more because after you buy 5, every pair is only $2. BUT I resisted the temptation!

  • Has anyone tried them before?? How's the quality? I honestly love my "udder cover" from them...so light compared to some other brands.

I have a pair and I like them. I also got the canopy cover blanket from them and I LOVE it!

  • @blondiabia21. How do they for your LO and how big is your LO? My little guy is a little chunky.
  • I'm gonna ask a stupid question. I really want to get some cute leggings for E but I'm not sure how they work. You pair them with a onesie instead of pants? You don't have them wear them in public right? Anyone have pictures of their babies wearing them?

I think the biggest pros are great for diaper changes, good for crawling babes, and super cute.. I haven't decided how practical they'll be for us.. But I figured at the price, it was worth trying! I actually bought a few as gifts :-)

    Please post adorable pics!!!

  • You convinced me to buy some!! I think they are adorable. DD has a pair for Super Bowl. I love how they show off her chunky thighs.

DH makes fun of them, but I find them adorable. We pair with onesie and have not warn in public (mostly because it's freezing here). These are from babylegs:

ETA: I have used them under pants as well for babywearing outdoors in the winter.
  • We mostly use them at home just because it makes diaper changes easier. She has worn them in public but usually only times when we are running a quick errand that she isn't even getting out of the car seat.

  • @kkay1982-
I think they fit her good. She's about 16 lbs, 23inch. long. Her legs aren't that chunky but they fit just right.

    My baby is ONE!!

  • When baby was in his casts and braces they were a life saver! I still love and use them!
  • We used them recently when going eagle watching as additional warmth under her pants.  Otherwise she wears them in the house paired with a onsie.  We have a pair with ruffly cuffs that always entertain her when she is on her back with her feet in her mouth!
  • My mom makes baby leggings out of girls knee high socks. She wears them out of the house... Why not? Here's a pair she's wearing while playing. image

  • I just bought my 5! I'm hoping to use them as arm warmers. Dd has all these cute short sleeved onesies, but it's just too chilly to wear them.
