I was just wondering how many of you ladies believe the theory that sex a few days before O makes girls, and sex closer to O makes boys. With my boys, we definitely hit the day before/ day of O mark. With my girl, it was a couple of days before. This time, we weren't exactly "trying"; it was a rash decision in the moment. I was 4/5 days before O, so I thought it was super unlikely that I would get pg. But you all know how that story ends - here i am! So I am wondering if this might be another girl. I took my temps, so I know when O occurred.
What do you all think about gender swaying? Fact or fiction?
Re: Gender swaying - does it work? Or only 50% of the time :)?

When I got pregnant with my daughter I had an IUI. So the sperm were put directly in my uterus. They still had some swimming to do but a lot closer to the target and I had a girl.
Like I said, my IUI produced a girl.
Sorry just saw this...
Your diet changes the ph levels in your body, and this in turn affects the male/female sperm differently. Ovulation also changes the ph levels of your body. These two combined will increase/decrease male and female sperm, therefore timing and diet are effective.
The main reason for timing is because of the way it impacts ph levels, which is the same as controlling your diet. Yes, male sperm swim faster but if the environment isn't friendly to them they won't last long. That's why more people are leaning towards O+12 instead of shettles method.
Edit because it came out weird looking!
@BlckRoses it will be interesting to find out! I don't know if it worked last time, or if it will work this time either since we don't know the exact date of conception.
