Baby loves music.. or hates it!

So I have insomnia again, please excuse me and my nonsense!

So baby enjoys classical rock. Before DH went to bed he was playing some on our kindle and baby started up kicking and spinning. So unless they were angry kicks but I doubt that. It was cute =P

    My LO loves Pearl Jam. Whenever I play them (which is a lot) she gets all excited. It's awesome. You can get classic rock lullaby albums on iTunes now. I'm thinking of getting the pearl jam and guns n roses ones.

    My baby has rather odd tastes. She dances for single instrument classical (Fur Elise on the piano, The Swan on cello- maybe because they've been played so often around here, but orchestra music gets no dances) and for the heavy dance beat techno mixes that DH likes to listen to in the car.

    Country, pop, rock, grunge (I'm not picky about my music)- baby sleeps right on through. But put on some subwoofer pounding techno or play the piano/cello and its a total party in my ute.

    My boy seems to like things with a loud beat, and things I sing along to. So really, anything from dance, to classic rock, to Gaga, to Luke Bryan. Sometimes when I haven't felt him in a while, I just turn up the tunes and start singing so I can feel him move. He's probably like "wth, mom??" haha

    My little girl was rocking out to Fall Out Boy the other day, it's one of the songs on my running mixes. Haha maybe I will use it during delivery so she gets her butt out to party

    I listen to the most random mix of music ever, so i haven't been able to pinpoint what gets this little guy going.

    i think he might be a sport fan though, because we went to the Bruins game on tuesday and he was going nuts the entire time!

    My baby is indifferent to music. :( Which makes me SO sad as a music teacher! I think it might be because she hears it ALL day, every day.

    My little guy seems to relax when we play our usual favs in this house ....rock, metal, alternative...maybe he'll love it out of the womb too? Sure as heck would be nice to throw on some under oath and have babe sleeping to it ;) lol

    I'm a piano teacher and there are certain students that make my baby kick like crazy! I don't think it's genre related since most of them play the same or similar songs.

    That's so funny. I keep telling everyone how my baby loves Bruno Mars. He jumps around and kicks when we play him. He seems to be into music in general, but who knows. I assume he is happy with music and not kicking because he hates it.

    Little guy loves classic rock!

    I tried classical, nothing. I put on Kiss, Rolling Stones, Journey, Billy Idol and Pat Benetar and he goes nuts!

    This afternoon I was driving his nana's car (ours was in the shop) and the bass was kicking pretty good out of the speakers in the door and against my belly. Well, Mason either didn't appreciate being woken up or decided he liked the feeling because he gave one of the strongest kicks I have felt to date!

    Back when baby started kicking I would always say "baby likes (whatever I was doing)" and my husbands would say "or hates it."  Now when baby is kicking up a storm we say "baby feels strongly about____." :)

    My husband and I song in a choir that is currently rehearsing to perform "Carmina Burana" and the baby seems to like it :) Then again, I'm a soprano so maybe it just wants me to stop :P

    My husband and I were both music majors, so we are HOPING that baby boy comes out musically inclined.  That being said, he loves when I play broadway music?!?!
    In memory of the angel babies that were too perfect for Earth.

    Just today on my way home from work white stripes "seven nation army" came on and baby started kicking and rolling around! The song has lots of bass and beat to it so i guess that's what it was but it was funny!
