Team green and small baby vent

While we are still happy we are team green, I'm getting frustrated trying to find a coming home outfit. I am not looking for anything fancy either. Most return policies are too short to be worthwhile to buy a boy outfit and girl outfit unless they are really inexpensive.

My other issue is that I have tiny babies, but long. DD was 5lbs, but 20 inches long. She swam in newborn stuff for like a month and then was in it for a while. Anyway, I am looking for preemie outfits since this LO is measuring tiny too, but they all come with footed pants which, if this baby is similar, I can't use. Also, the preemie clothes are slim pickings.

Anyway, sorry for the vent, just feeling bummed after looking online and at Buy Buy Baby. I know clothes are superficial things, but I just want to buy something!

I've only ever seen sleeper type items for preemies and that would really not work for a long skinny baby. Are you looking for separates or a one piece?

I bought a boy and a girl outfit, at babies R us. And they always print out a gift receipt. But even if it's over the return date most stores will give you store credit. Maybe something to look into. Good luck!

I love a cute sleeper for a going home outfit! Have you checked Carter's for preemie sizes? Their sale stuff is probably cheap enough to get a boy and girl outfit

I brought my DD home in a unisex outfit, even though we knew she'd be a girl. She wore a onesie (white with light brown teddy bears) with beige colored pants and a hoodie with a bear on it, I think. I'm having a boy this time around and have thought about bringing him home in the same outfit since I saved it.

Carters has a ton of options for preemie and newborn. Return policy is great and their entire store is 40% off right now. Give it a shot.

Have you checked out Etsy? They might have something that can be made for your LO in either preemie or NB sizes. Just a thought.

I'm having a problem finding an outfit too, which is frustrating. I just want something that isn't plaid for a little boy, and isn't pepto-pink for a little girl. I'm sure you'll find something!

Could you do a white preemie onesie and then get some cute hats in pink & blue or green? That's most of what you'll see in pictures anyways. Maybe a cute little blanket too?
