F or Ph

"Is that with an F or a Ph?" is not a question I anticipated when we chose the name Fiona for our daughter, but I get asked it almost every time I have to give her name.

That's interesting.

I could see it being a question with Sophia/Sofia or Seraphina/Serafina, but not Fiona.

Weird! Fiona is our #1, definitely not something we've anticipated....I've seen Phineas. But never Phiona.

This is the only think that would make sense-- if people thought Fiona was the feminine form of Phineas. Or should I say pheminine phorm?
