Once I hit the second trimester I had an amazing amount of energy, I woke up refreshed, would do laundry and dishes, vacuum, get the munchkin ready to go, drop him off at pre-school, head to work for 8-9. I would still have energy to make dinner, clean-up and get the muchnkin ready for bed (you get the idea). Now that I hit 24 weeks I have to drag myself out of bed and don't have energy to do anything-literally nothing! I am frustrated if I have to get up to use the bathroom. Ugh-I was really hoping to hang on to that energy until the end of my pregnancy.
I feel your pain. 22 weeks and I'm dragging. DF had knee surg last week so I have been playing nurse maid an although he doesn't ask for much, I really hate to get up and get him stuff! I've become meaner, constantly bitchy an in a bad mood. And the crying..... OMG the hormones are gonna be the death of me!!!
I was SO exhausted until probably about 14 weeks. Spent the next 9-10 feeling great, and now I'm getting tired again....but NOTHING like the first tri. That was horrendous.
check iron too. My impression is that people start to get anemic around 22-25 weeks b/c that's when your red blood count starts to go up (so you really need the iron).
