Natural birth friendly In OKC?

Hi ladies, I'm new to the OKC area. Not currently pg, but I like to have a plan in place for the future. :) I saw a great group of midwives in DC that delivered my daughter, and would like to have a med-free minimal intervention birth next time. Do you know of practitioners in the metro who support natural birth? OB, midwife, hospital, birth center...I'm pretty open. TIA!

  • OU CNMs are awesome!! They aren't against meds, but they will do what you choose. "Birthmatters" is a natural friendly birthing class.

  • Agreed on OU midwives for in hospital birth. There are a selection of home birth midwives as well. You can find a wealth of information on Oklahoma Birth Networks website. I'm a birth doula and really enjoy working with the midwives both in and out of hospital.

    Good luck!
