I am trying to back up all of my photos in case my computer decides to crash one day. I have a folder of Cooper's picture from when she was 2-3 months old. They wouldn't fit on the flash drive so it asked me if I wanted to compress and I said yes. It is taking forever to compress so the longer I sit here the more freaked out I am. did i just really F up???? The thought of losing these pictures is making me sick to my stomach. Please tell me I didnt f up

    I also got an exterior hard drive this week but before I use it I want to make sure I have them on a flash too. Thank you. I hope they don't go away. I will be irrationally devastated

    Yeah, they'll most likely be fine.  They're just zipping into a smaller file.  Something to think about in your settings- are you saving photos at higher resolution than you need?  If you can take photos that are smaller in size (any photo you don't need to print really doesn't need to be at the highest resolution possible), you'll have more room on your phone/computer/hard drive.
